Smart Tools. Thoughtful Care. Clearer Vision
We use some pretty great technology around here, and it all has one purpose: to help us care for your eyes with comfort, precision, and a personal touch. From tracking how your child’s eyes are growing to capturing detailed images of your retina, our equipment helps us spot small changes early and give you the most personalized care possible.
We believe your eye exam should be smooth, supportive, and maybe even a little fun because great care isn’t just about what we see but also about how you feel.
Our technology allows us to care for your vision in a smarter, more effective way. Contact us to schedule your visit to experience our technology for yourself!
Why Technology Matters
You might not see what’s happening inside your eyes, but we can, and that makes all the difference. Using our diagnostic tools, we can detect subtle changes in your eye health before they become more significant problems. That means earlier answers, better tracking over time, and more informed decisions about your care.
Whether it’s monitoring your child’s eye growth, checking for signs of disease, or simply making your exam more comfortable, our technology helps us provide care that’s proactive, precise, and truly personalized.

MYAH: Axial Length & Corneal Topography
- What it does: Measures the shape of your eye and tracks how long it’s growing.
- Why it matters: Myopia (nearsightedness) often progresses as a child’s eye grows. MYAH allows us to monitor axial length, which is a key marker for myopia risk, so we can take action early. It also maps the surface of the eye (topography), which helps with custom contact lens fittings, orthokeratology, and dry eye assessments.
- Best for: Myopia control, contact lenses, dry eye care.
iCare Tonometer: No-Puff Pressure Testing
- What it does: Measures the pressure inside your eye (IOP) to screen for glaucoma.
- Why it matters: Glaucoma often has no symptoms until vision loss begins. iCare offers a quick, gentle, and puff-free way to check your eye pressure, great for both kids and adults who may be sensitive to traditional tests.
- Best for: Glaucoma screening, comfortable pressure testing.
Virtual Reality Visual Field (VRVF)
- What it does: Uses a VR headset to test your peripheral (side) vision.
- Why it matters: Changes in your peripheral vision can be an early sign of conditions like glaucoma, stroke, or neurological issues. Our VR visual field testing is not only more comfortable and engaging, but also offers fast and accurate results.
- Best for: Glaucoma monitoring, concussion care, neurological screening.
Optomap Retinal Imaging
- What it does: Takes a high-resolution, wide-angle image of the back of your eye.
- Why it matters: optomap allows us to see up to 200° of your retina without dilation, so we can check for signs of retinal disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, and more, all without the drops.
- Best for:Comprehensive eye exams, diabetic eye care, and early disease detection.
Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT)
- Best for: Retinal disease, glaucoma, macular health.
- What it does: Takes cross-sectional scans of your retina using light waves.
- Why it matters: Think of it like an ultrasound for your eyes. OCT gives us a detailed, layer-by-layer view of the retina and optic nerve, helping us detect early signs of macular degeneration, glaucoma, and diabetic eye disease before you notice any changes.
